G1Z Memcal Adapter: The G1Z Memcal adapter is now available. This adapter is the same as the G1 Memcal Adapter except that the standard IC socket has been replaced with a ZIF socket making it much easier to insert and remove the Flash chip from the adapter.

OBD2_34 Release: The OBD2_34 Vehicle Definition File is now available. This definition file supports the 2003 - 2005 2.2L cars using the P11 PCM.

The OBD2_40 definition file has been updated to support the 2018 full size trucks and SUVs, the OBD2_42 definition file has been updated to support the 2018 HD trucks with the L96 engine and the OBD2_41 definition file has been updated to support the 2018 Corvette.

T87 TCM Support: We now offer support for 2015-16 GM vehicles using the 8L90 8-speed transmission. The OBD2_62 definition file has been released to support these TCMs.

Note: Like the 2017 vehicles, the 2018 ECMs and the T87 TCMs require a special security key. For more information on working with these vehicle please click here. 2017 GM Support: We now offer support for 2017 GM vehicles. The OBD2_40 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 full size trucks and SUVs, the OBD2_42 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 HD trucks with the L96 engine and the OBD2_41 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 Corvette, the 2017 Camaro 6.2L and the Cadillac CTS and XTS with the 3.6L V6 turbo charged engine. As you may have heard, beginning in 2017 GM switched to a much more robust security seed/key system and the WinFlash OBDII program can no longer calculate the security key. With this new system you will have to obtain a security key from us the first time you work on an ECM. Once you get the security key for the ECM you will be able to read and program this ECM as many times as needed. There is a $45.00 administrative fee for these security keys. We will e-mail the security key back to you as soon as possible. We will typically respond the same business day or the next business day depending on what time of day we receive your order. These updates correspond to the release of the OBD2_42 Vehicle Definition File which supports the 2001 - 2015 heavy-duty trucks with the L96 6.0L engine and the release of the OBD2_54 Vehicle Definition File which supports many of the 2007 - 2012 four cylinder and V6 cars that used the E37 ECM. Both these new definition file include calibration help.

The OBD2_40, OBD2_41 and OBD2_53 Vehicle Definition Files have also been updated to support the latest 2015 calibrations. (Please note that the TCM for the new 8-speed automatic transmission is not currently supported.)

OBDI Tuner: We are now offering the V6 ECM Definition File and the V6-Tune-Kit which support the 1994 - 95 GM cars with the 3.4L L32 and 3.1L L82 V6 engines. The PCMs used in these cars were Flash based like the LT1 PCMs so they are read and reprogrammed by connecting to the ALDL connector. The Tuner, RT Tuner and WinFlash programs have been updated to add the read and programming capability for these cars.

*** Important Updates: We have just released version 3.23 of the WinFlash OBDII program. This version contains and important update to prevent possible problems when programming 2012 vehicles. BEFORE programming any 2012 vehicles please download and install this update. For those using the dealer version of the WinFlash OBDII program there is also a corresponding update to this program that can be downloaded here.

We have also identified a few errors in the Variable Cam Timing parameters in the CAN bus Vehicle Definition Files (OBD2_50, 51, 52, 53, 55 and 56) so before making any tuning modifications to these parameters you should update your Vehicle Definition Files.  

OBDII VDF File Updates: Happy new year everyone! The OBD2_51,52,  53, 60 and 61 Vehicle Definition Files have all been updated to support the corresponding 2012  vehicles. In addition all of the CAN Vehicle Definition Files have been updated to add quite of few more tuning parameters.

New OBDII VDF Files: Two new Vehicle Definition Files are now available. The OBD2_55 which supports the 2006 - 2008 Corvettes and the OBD2_56 which supports the 2008 - 2009 V8 Pontiac G8. There have also been significant updates to most of the other Vehicle Definition Files so check your versions to see if you need updates.

New OBDI TDF Files: Two new ECM Definition Files are now available. The $6C ECM Definition File that supports the 1989 Grand Am, Cutlass, Calais, Skylark  LG7 3.3L, V6 cars and the $98 ECM Definition File that supports the 1991 - 1993 Trans Sport, Silhouette, Lumina LG6 3.1L V6 APVs.

2009 - 2011 Corvette Support: The OBD2_53 and OBD2_61 Vehicle Definition Files have been updated to include support for the 2009 - 2011 Corvettes (except the supercharged ZR1). If you have already purchased these Vehicle Definition Files just request an update.

2007 - 2011 V6 Truck/SUV Support: The OBD2_52 Vehicle Definition File has been released. This definition file supports the 2007 - 2011 V6 4.3L trucks and SUVs.

NS6 ECM Definition File: The NS6 ECM Definition File has been released. This definition file supports the ATCX calibration for the 1991 Cadillac L26 4.9L cars

OBDII Tuner Release: We are officially releasing the latest updates to the OBDII Tuner and WinFlash OBDII programs to add support for the newer CAN bus vehicles.  Version 3.18 of the OBDII Tuner program and version 3.21 of the WinFlash OBDII program are now available for download. These updates can be downloaded from the Downloads page on the web site. If you are working with CAN vehicles and are using an earlier version of either program we highly recommend that you update to the latest version available.

2010 - 2011 Camaro Support: The OBD2_53 Vehicle Definition File has been released. This definition file supports the 2010 - 2011 V8 Camaro.

2011 Truck Support: The OBD2_51 Vehicle Definition File has been updated to support the 2011 V8 trucks and SUVs (except the hybrids and the L96 6.0L heavy-duty trucks) This Definition File now covers 2009 through 2011. The OBD2_60 and OBD2_61 Vehicle Definition Files have also been updated to support the 2011 trucks..

New OBDII Vehicle Definition File: The OBD2_51 Vehicle Definition File for the 2009 - 2010 V8 trucks and SUVs is now available and the OBD2_60 and OBD2_61 Vehicle Definition Files have been updated accordingly.

OBDII Tuner CAN Support: We are pleased to announce the availability of updates to the OBDII Tuner and WinFlash OBDII programs to add support for the newer CAN bus vehicles. Although officially still in beta test we are making these updates available to all current users. As usual the program updates are free to registered users. Support for the CAN bus vehicles does require a new OBDII Communications Interface. This interface is a completely new design that supports both the older J1850 vehicles as well as the newer CAN bus vehicles. It also has a USB interface for connecting to your PC. The cost of the Vehicle Definition Files for the new CAN bus vehicles is the standard Vehicle Definition File price of at $79.95 each. Three CAN bus Vehicle Definition Files are currently available; the OBD2_50 which supports the 2007 - 2008 V8 trucks, the OBD2_60 which supports the T42 transmission controller used in 2007 - 2011 vehicles with a 4-speed automatic transmission and the OBD2_61 which supports the T43 transmission controller used in 2007 - 2011 vehicles with the 6-speed automatic transmission. Other Vehicle Definition Files will be added shortly. The new OBDII Communication Interfaces are available for shipment now and will include a CD with the necessary software updates to the OBDII Tuner and WinFlash OBDII programs.

Tuner Program Updates/OBDI Tune Kits: The latest version of the Tuner (and RT Tuner) program now supports the Moates.Net Burn1, Burn2 and AutoProm programmers allowing you to read the stock EPROM/Memcal and to program a replacement Flash chip directly from the Tuner program. The program automatically takes care of the Flash chip mapping so the calibration is always programmed at the correct address. This update has also allowed us to put together some complete tuning packages (OBD1-Tune kits) for the GM EPROM based OBDI vehicles providing a complete tuning solution for your vehicle much like the LT1-Tune kits for the '94/95 LT1 cars. This kits includes the Tuner program, ECM Definition File, Burn2 Programmer, Flash memory, and required adapters.

When working with the '94/95 LT1 cars, the update to the Tuner program allows one-button access to reading and programming the PCM.

Windows Vista / Windows 7: For those of you running Vista or Windows 7 on our PCs  please note that all of our software can be run under these operating systems but the installation process is a little different. Please see our FAQs page for more information regarding the installation of the software under these operating systems.

LT1 Tuning Kits: We are now offering complete tuning kits for the 1994/95 OBDI LT1 cars. These kits include everything you'll need to tune these cars.

OBD1 USB/ALDL Cable Sets: We also offer the same high quality OBDI USB/ALDL interface cable sets that are included in the LT1 Tuning kits separately. These cables sets are compatible with the OBDI Tuner and WinFlash programs and are also compatible with most scan tool and data logging programs for the OBDI GM vehicle with the 8192 baud data stream.

WARNING: It has come to our attention that someone was selling pirated copies of our software on EBay. Please be careful when purchasing a used copy of our software. While we will transfer the software license to you if you purchase it from a currently registered user (we need a verification e-mail from the current user), if you purchase an illegal copy of the software we will not be able to support it and you will not be eligible for free updates. If you are considering purchasing a used copy of the software please check with us first so we can verify that it is a valid copy. We do not use resellers for our OBDI software so if you find someone selling multiple copies of the software DO NOT purchase from them.

OBDII Tuner Updates: The OBDII Tuner and the WinFlash OBDII programs have been updated and the OBD2_29 Vehicle Definition File has been released to add support for the 2002 - 2005 L6 4.2L Trailblazer, Envoy and Bravada.

OBDII VDF Editor UpdateThere is an update (version 2.47) now available for the OBDII Vehicle Definition File Editor program to correct a few bugs. This update should be installed by anyone currently running an older version.

OBDII Vehicle Definition File EditorThe OBDII Vehicle Definition File Editor program is now available. This program allows you to edit existing Vehicle Definition Files or to create new ones.

OBDII RT Tuner Program: The real-time version of our OBDII Tuner program is available from Moates.net when you purchase the Moates Roadrunner emulator. When used in conjunction with the Roadrunner emulator the OBDII RT Tuner program allows you to tune OBDII vehicles in real time.

OBDII Diesel Tuner Program: Wester's Garage now offers professional versions of the OBDII Tuner and OBDII RT Tuner programs that support the GM OBDII diesel trucks as well as the gas vehicles.

Calibration Files: C.A.T.S. can now supply the latest stock GM calibration in .cal file format for any OBDII vehicle currently supported by the OBDII Tuner program.

OBDII Dealer Kit: The OBDII Dealer Kit is available to professional tuners for resale to their customer. The kit includes everything needed to read and program the OBDII PCMs so your customer can program his PCM with your calibration files without the need to ship PCMs back and forth for reprogramming.

New Releases and Updates: C.A.T.S. is continually updating and releasing new software, OBDI ECM Definition Files and OBDII Vehicle Definition Files so remember to keep up to date. If there are any vehicles that we don't currently support that you would like to see supported just let us know.
