News and Information:
2017 GM Support: We now offer support for 2017 GM vehicles. The OBD2_40 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 full size trucks and SUVs, the OBD2_42 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 HD trucks with the L96 engine and the OBD2_41 definition file has been updated to support the 2017 Corvette, the 2017 Camaro 6.2L and the Cadillac CTS and XTS with the 3.6L V6 turbo charged engine. As you may have heard, beginning in 2017 GM switched to a much more robust security seed/key system and the WinFlash OBDII program can no longer calculate the security key. With this new system you will have to obtain a security key from us the first time you work on an ECM. Once you get the security key for the ECM you will be able to read and program this ECM as many times as needed. There is a $25.00 administrative fee for these security keys. We will e-mail the security key back to you as soon as possible. We will typically respond the same business day or the next business day depending on what time of day we receive your order. For more information on working with these vehicle please click here. To order a 2017 security key click on the 2017+ Security Keys link to the left.
Note: Before working on the 2017 vehicles you'll also need to update to the latest versions of the OBDII Tuner and WinFlash OBDII programs. You can download the installation programs for the updates from the Downloads page.
